Our wool products are the result of an extensive process. Our indigenous partners grow their
sheep from birth, tending to them with warmth and care. Each season, they shear the sheep and
wash the wool, brushing and hand-spinning it into yarn. The family then sets the yarn on a loom,
braiding the wool into a single sheet. It is washed again to shrink and stabilize the fabric, so that
it is ready to be dyed and then cut into different shapes.
Finally, from the animal shapes they have carefully measured and cut, the wool fabric
is stitched together with string, and then stuffed tightly with fiber and felt.
This entire process from sheep to finished product takes around 6 months!
